1. Scope

These Terms govern the use of Filter Forge (filter-forge.com).

By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Filter Forge provides a visual environment for creating, editing, sharing, and exporting item filters for Path of Exile 2.

The service is provided as-is.

3. Accounts

  • Accounts may be created by users of any age
  • No age restriction applies
  • Users are responsible for securing their credentials

4. User-Generated Content

Users may:

  • Create boards and filters
  • Publish boards publicly
  • Clone and reuse published boards

Ownership:

  • Users retain ownership of their created content
  • By publishing content, users grant Filter Forge a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it within the platform

Published content may be reused by other users.

5. System Presets

System presets (e.g. NeverSink filters) are provided under their respective open-source licenses.

Filter Forge does not claim ownership over third-party presets.

6. Exported Filters

Users may download and use exported filter files freely.

Filter Forge does not guarantee:

  • In-game effectiveness
  • Economic outcomes
  • Compatibility with future game versions

7. Disclaimer & Liability

  • The service is provided as-is
  • No guarantee of performance or correctness
  • No liability for:
  • Game performance issues
  • Economic loss
  • In-game consequences
  • Account bans or penalties
  • Filter Forge is not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements displayed on the platform

To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to foreseeable damages caused by gross negligence or intent.

8. Account Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or delete accounts
  • Remove published boards
  • Restrict access to the service

Appeals: Users may submit an appeal by emailing accounts@filter-forge.com including:

  • Account email
  • Board ID (if applicable)
  • Reason for appeal

Appeals are reviewed manually.

9. Paid Plans

We offer paid plans that include unlimited boards and an ad-free experience.

Merchant of Record

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), who acts as our Merchant of Record. This means:

  • Lemon Squeezy is the legal seller of paid subscriptions
  • You are entering into a purchase agreement with Lemon Squeezy
  • Lemon Squeezy handles billing, invoicing, VAT/sales tax, and refunds

Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Lemon Squeezy's refund policy. For billing inquiries or refund requests, contact Lemon Squeezy directly or email us at accounts@filter-forge.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

11. Language

English and German versions are legally binding. Other languages are provided for convenience only.
